- Digital archive topic
- For my Digital Archive topic I am going to digitize items from the Park City Hotel in Butler and other historic buildings located on Main Street, Butler, NJ. I am working with the local museum which has a multitude of items that are just waiting to be digitized. They have already given me access and permission to photograph many items. This archive will feature the transition that Main Street, Butler and its buildings have gone through over time.
- Digital Exhibit topic
- For my Digital Exhibit topic I am focusing on the evolution of Main Street Butler, NJ specifically an historic hotel, stables, and rail station. The exhibit will show the change over time that the buildings and Main Street went through from about 1880 to now. I want to showcase what i consider to be the deterioration of the Street including before and after photos of the historic buildings. What one was a beautiful tree lined street full of life and flourishing mom and pop shops is now a mere shadow of itself. I would like to use this exhibit to show this change over time by focusing on the famous Park City Hotel that Thomas Edison stayed at and the surrounding historic buildings.

Hi Dan,
A reader, like myself, gets a good sense of what historic Butler was and its importance to the community while perusing your exhibit pages. I think you're off to a good start and your "about" page clearly defines the purpose of your exhibit as a whole.
I see that you have citations already present, but they do not link to anywhere. I'm assuming this is because you haven't formatted them the way that you want, but I wanted to bring your attention to that just in case they are not done properly.
Also, being a stickler of a teacher when it comes to writing, I've noticed a few spelling/grammatical errors on a couple of the pages. They're listed below. Other than minor tweaks, I think your exhibit on Butler's Main Street is off to a good start.
The Rubber Factory: "buildings"? (4th line)
About: "a fond memories" (2nd paragraph)
"politians" (3rd paragraph)
